For those who have kept up with my website (and I thank you!) welcome to the completely overhauled site! I think you'll agree that it looks much better! Notice the profile picture has changed. (Don't worry...the famed "tulips and cheese" picture is in my photo gallery, so you can visit it any time!) You'll also notice growing in the top left corner a bed of red and yellow tulips.
For those new to my site (and I thank you!) welcome to June B. Anderson! You may wonder what the "to-do" is about tulips. It has "to do" with my first book, "To Catch a Fallen Star." See my page devoted just to the book...click here.
...and to answer the multitude of people who have asked, "You are going to write a sequel, aren't you?" the answer is, "That is definitely the plan." However, I'm writing another one totally unrelated right now, so I hope you'll be patient with me. Meanwhile, I hope to see you at book signings when this one is published. I wish I could tell you when that'll be...I wonder myself. The first draft is more than half written, though, so be encouraged.
When I'm not writing, I like to delve into my family history. Yeah, I know genealogy isn't for everyone, but I find it fascinating. I've learned lots of neat stuff about my family, my husband's family, and others as I wander about this ancestry site.
Flower gardening has taken up a lot of my time since the mid-'80's. I've included some pictures of some of my prized blooms in the photo gallery, and I hope you enjoy them.
Of course, most writers like to read and I'm right there with them! My site includes a page devoted to reviews of just a few of the books I've read over the years. Click here to read them. Hopefully, I will be adding to them as I find time to read.
I love to travel, so I've devoted a page here to pictures of some of the places I've been.
Whether it's traveling, eating, acting silly, playing together, or whatever, spending time with my family is among my top priorities. Next to salvation through Jesus Christ, nothing is more important to me than my family.
I hope you enjoy browsing the site. Please go to my contact page and leave comments about the site, the book, or just to say, "Hello!".
